CODE OF CONDUCT
Setting the Standard for Our South Tampa Gold Community
Our Code of Conduct is designed to create a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for all members of our soccer community. Please review the expectations outlined below regarding behavior both on and off the field for players and parents.
PLAYER CODE
As a player, I agree to:
Be Respectful
Respect my teammates, coaches, opponents, referees, and spectators at all times.
Accept decisions made by match officials without arguing or complaining.
Be a Team Player
Support and encourage my teammates.
Communicate positively on and off the field.
Represent the Club with Pride
Wear the club kit with respect.
Behave appropriately during training, matches, and club events.
Stay Safe and Responsible
Look after my health and fitness.
Tell my coach if I’m injured or unwell.
Respect the facilities and equipment provided.
PARENT CODE
As a parent/guardian, I agree to:
Be a Positive Role Model
Encourage fair play and respect for all participants.
Applaud effort and good play, regardless of the outcome.
Support, Don’t Coach
Let coaches do the coaching.
Avoid shouting instructions from the sidelines.
Offer words of encouragement and support.
Respect Everyone Involved
Treat referees, players, coaches, and other parents with respect.
Never engage in criticism, abuse, or confrontational behavior.
Promote a Safe Environment
Ensure my child arrives prepared and on time.
Communicate with coaches about any health or personal concerns.
Follow Club Protocols
Do not approach coaches on the sidelines of the training field, tournaments or any events.
Use appropriate channels for concerns such as email, text or whatsapp.
Refrain from posting negative or inappropriate content about the club or players.
Breach of Conduct
Any breach of the Player or Parent Code may result in disciplinary action by the club, including warnings, suspension, or removal from the team or club.
